The Greene County Christian Action Resource Center food pantry was the beneficiary of Denny Goshon’s good luck.
Goshon and the staff at Kingsgate Insurance in Jefferson recently played in a corporate fundraiser golf tournament. Each year, the name of one golfer is drawn and the winner receives the proceeds to donate to a charity of his or her choice. Goshon won the drawing this year and he selected the food pantry to receive the $600.
He and Carol Vileta Durbin presented the check to the food pantry board Wednesday.
